Charger Trucking has the lead in golf action
The Elks Golf League met for week eight on July 13 at Hickory Flats Golf Course .
The results were low gross , 35 , Mason Waycaster ; low net , 29 , Tim Gaumer , Waycaster and Reese Andrews ; high points , 11.5 , Gaumer , Waycaster , Darren Williamson , Jamie Beach and Dave
Bass club reports
Three Rivers Bassmasters held its seventh club tournament for 2021 with eight members and one guest competing .
The tournament was held on Wills Creek Reservoir on July 25 . The tournament results were Bret Lingo , 7.03 pounds , first place ; Herb Stevens , 4.44 pounds , second place ; Greg Montgomery , 3.15 pounds , third place ; and Lingo , 2.40 pounds , big bass .
Three Rivers Bassmasters is a local bass-fishing club that fishes competitive bass-fishing tournaments throughout the year . Membership is open to interested individuals age 18 and older .
Bratton ; most bogeys , eight , Dave Ross ; most pars , six , Bill Olinger , Waycaster and Ed Moyer ; most birdies , three , Dave Desender ; and most eagles , one , Logan Desender .
The leading team is Charger Trucking ( 251.5 points ): Olinger , Branden Smith , Terry Lowe and Gaumer .
Tuesday golf league shares recent results
Hickory Flats Tuesday Evening League played July 13 . The play of the day was gross minus mystery hole ( 12 ).
The A-flight winner was Jane Mautz , and the B-flight winner was Pat Talbot . Other low scores
were Mautz , 41 , and Connie Lahna , 43 .
On July 20 the ladies played for most 4 ’ s in A-flight and most 5 ’ s in B-flight .
The winner of A-flight was Lahna , and the B-flight winner was
Kathy Hendricks . Other low scores were Lahna , 41 ; Mautz , 42 ; and Sue Patterson , 49 .
