Ridgewood thanks WTNS reporter
The Ridgewood Local Board of Education met in regular session on July 16 with all members present .
Ken Smailes addressed the board of education as a reporter from local radio station WTNS . He introduced Jeremy Scott as his replacement as news reporter for WTNS , as he is pursuing his retirement from WTNS
Warsaw Elementary School honors students for academics
The following students were honored for their academics at Warsaw Elementary School for the fourth nine weeks of the 2020-21 school year . This-N-That 4-H members headed to the state fair
This-N-That 4-H Club met July 23 at the Hunters .
Pledges were led by Laura Bintz and Chloe Marquis . Several of the club members are county winners and will go to the Ohio State Fair .
The club will ride a float in the West Lafayette Homecoming Parade .
The Cloverbuds gave a demonstration on how to put together a homemade first-aid kit . Kids played tag and had ice-cream sundaes . The next meeting will be Monday , Aug . 9 .
Local students are on the OWU spring dean ’ s list
Ohio Wesleyan University announced its dean ’ s list for the 2021 spring semester .
To qualify for OWU dean ’ s list recognition , students must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes .
Coshocton residents making the dean ’ s list include Lindsey Ashcraft , Josephina Fornara , Maddy Miller and Maggie Myers .
Findlay shares its spring 2021 dean ’ s list names
The dean ’ s list for the spring 2021 semester at the University of Findlay has been announced . To earn this achievement , a student must attain a GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale .
Local students include Ryan Gildow of Warsaw , Peyton Shroyer of Coshocton and Taylor Stair of Conesville .
