Gray joins CES Credit Union board of directors
CES Credit Union welcomed Michael Gray , current River View High School educator and owner of Michael L . Gray Custom Builders , as a new member of the board of directors . Gray comes to CES Credit Union as a long-standing figure in Coshocton County and in the River View Local School District .
H av i ng g r a d u ated from the University of Mount Union with a degree in education , Gray has spent more than 34 years working in education , with 23 of those years spent in the River View Local School District . In addition , he was selected as one of two teachers from the state of Ohio for the Partnership for Assessment of Readiness for College and Careers National Fairness and Sensitivity Committee for state testing .
“ We are excited to welcome Michael Gray to our board of directors at CES Credit Union . Having a member of Coshocton County gives us valuable insight and perspective into the people we are
serving in the community . We couldn ’ t be more pleased with his appointment ,” said Sandy Coffing , president and CEO .
His reach and impact on the community has been felt in more than just education . He has spent 14 years coaching high school football including a recent appointment as assistant varsity football coach at River View High School and 18 years as a head coach for high school track and field . He also spent three years as an assistant on the football team of his almamater , the University of Mount Union .
When discussing his appointment , Gray said ,
“ I am excited and honored to join the board at CES Credit Union . I believe the impact that the credit union has made in just a short time in Coshocton is remarkable , and I look forward to being a part of its continued growth in all of the communities it serves .”
