Mini queen made lasting memories
One thing I liked about being mini queen is I had so much fun traveling . I was traveling to places I have never been before . One of my favorite places to go was the Sunflower Festival . Cy Young also was fun . Even though it was hot , the court that was there danced the heat off . Some of the other festivals and parades I enjoyed were Gnadenhutten , Canal Days and the Baltic Parade . At the Baltic Parade my dad learned to keep his keys with him , or they may be locked in a truck . To every parent , just remember to keep your keys

being a part of during my reign was meeting new people . At first I was doing this because one of my friends wanted me to try it . But when I met all of the new people , like Destiny , Maddie and Alayah , they made me feel welcome .
I hope the 2021-22 court will have as much fun as I did . I want to say thank you to Alaena Huff for having me try out for mini queen . And also thank you for helping me understand the center of a pineapple is hard and doesn ’ t need to thaw .
Also , to the new mini queen and attendants , have fun and enjoy every second of it . I had so much fun this year as queen , plus my extra year . Even in the cold and hot weather , you will have the best time of your life when you ’ re with the queen court . Though I was the only one trying out for mini queen and knew I was going to get it , the contest was amazing . After the contest I went with Alaena to get Firemen ’ s French Fries . My name is Abbygail Weaver , and I am the 2019 West Lafayette Homecoming little miss .
I would like to thank the West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce for putting together the homecoming and allowing young girls like myself to represent this wonderful community .
The sickness made me hold my title a little longer and have a different year than other misses , but I have really enjoyed my time .
