Paul Hahn Doughty , 89 , of Conesville , died Monday , July 5 , 2021 , at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville . His loving family was at his side . Born April 12 , 1932 in Coshocton County , he was the son of the late Frank and Bernice ( Hahn ) Doughty and was a 1950 graduate of Roscoe High School . He proudly served his country in the Korean Conflict from 1952-1954 in the US Army .
Lifetime active member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church . Served on trustee building committee when the church was built in 1964 and member of Phi Chi Sunday School Class .
Paul was a hard worker and dedicated family man . He was a lifetime farmer and selfemployed owner of Paul ’ s Agri-Sales selling Pioneer Seed and grain bins .
Preston Ensign Palmer Sr ., 80 , of Coshocton , passed away on Saturday , July 10 , 2021 . He was born on Oct . 27 , 1940 in Pittsfield , Massachusetts to the late Dexter Sr . and Anne Elizabeth ( Clark ) Palmer . After graduating from Sarasota High School in 1957 , Preston joined the United States Army , serving his country proudly . On July 20 , 1958 , he married Nina ( Smith ) Palmer who preceded him in death in 1992 .
He was a retired musician who played in the HIMS Band . They would play for local venues , church functions and nursing homes ; and he would stay up all night picking a guitar with you talking about life and his love for the Lord . He was

Coshocton County 4-H Tractor Club Advisor , Franklin Grange member for 70 years , Ohio Young Farmer President and Ohio Young Farmer Couple of the Year . Paul collected and restored antique John Deere Tractors and Implements and proudly displayed them at tractor shows and parades . He especially enjoyed tractor drives , plow days , and being a member of the Ohio Two-Cylinder Club .

Survived by his loving devoted wife Janet ( Mercer ) Doughty , married May 20 , 1956 . They celebrated their 65 th Wedding Anniversary this year . Daughters ; Judy ( Don ) Martin , of Dresden , Elaine ( Don ) Ross of Dresden , Ellen ( Justin ) Reed of Adamsville . Grandchildren ; Elias Martin , Aaron Ross , Leanne Reed and Dane Reed . In-laws , Ruie Smith , Max and Ann Mercer . Many special nieces and nephews .
In addition to his parents , he was preceded in death by sister Elsie Pearl Fortune , brother Walter Doughty and grandson Lucas Martin .
Funeral services were held at 11 a . m . Friday , July 9 , at the Roscoe United Methodist Church , 475 High St . Coshocton , OH 43812 , with Pastors Bob Mitchell and Dale Sutton officiating . Burial with graveside military honors followed in Dresden Cemetery . Visitation was Thursday , July 8 from 5-8 p . m . at the church , as well as one hour prior to service time on Friday . Preston is survived by his two children , Preston E . “ Chip ” Palmer Jr . of Coshocton and Ginger Savoie of Bradenton , Florida ; six grandchildren , Aronn ( Candis ) Palmer , Christine ( Shannon ) Roberts , Paula Guthrie , Preston ( Mallory ) Palmer III , Charles ( Leah ) Palmer and Shannon Savoie ; 11 greatgrandchildren ; siblings , Buster ( Chris ) Palmer and Terrie Schmucker both of Bradenton , Florida ; and many nieces , nephews and cousins in Florida , North Carolina and Ohio .
Along with his parents and wife , he is preceded in death by his son , Troy Palmer , grandson , Travis Savoie and sister , Alice Palmer .
Per Preston ’ s wishes , a cremation will take place with a memorial service being held at the Coshocton Baptist Church in Coshocton on Saturday , July 17 , 2021 at 11 a . m .

Susan E . Murray Guilliams , 79 , of Coshocton , passed away on Tuesday , July 6 , 2021 . She was born on Sept . 16 , 1941 , in Coshocton to the late Edgar and Margery ( Pargman ) Burrier .
In 1959 , she graduated from Fresno High School and shortly thereafter began working at Buckeye Fabric as an office manager . Susan worked for 62 years before retiring in January 2021 .
She was a member of Isleta United Methodist Church and was very active in the Church ’ s prayer shawl ministry . She loved to knit and send special occasion cards to all her family and friends . Susan enjoyed collecting antiques and getting together with her family .
She is survived by her children , Sue ( John ) Williams of Warsaw , Sara Murray of Coshocton ; daughter-in-law , Christina ( Gail ) Belt of Plainfield and step-daughter , Peggy Payne of North Canton ; six grandchildren , Keith Murray , Cody Williams , Max Williams , Seth Walters , Devan ( JR ) Ferguson , and Elayna Belt ; two great-grandchildren , Finn and Brooklyn Ferguson ; sister , Judy ( Bernie ) Kessler and several nieces and nephews .
