New boutique opens in Roscoe

A new women ’ s clothing store officially opened to the public with a grand opening on July 1 in Roscoe Village at 416 N . Whitewoman St . in Coshocton .
Lyndsi Gadd ’ s Lynnie Lou ’ s Boutique specializes in high-end clothing in sizes small to 3X . Most of her clothing lines come from California . The store is mainly business casual with dressy tops , skirts , slacks and dresses , although it does have an active wear section . The boutique offers some jewelry , purses and wallets with plans to add shoes later .
Gadd worked for a direct sales company the past 2 1 / 2 years and really liked doing in-home parties where people could try on the clothes . She plans to have a dressing room in the store .
“ I have always been super girlie ,” Gadd said . “ I like fashion and jewelry , the whole bit . I like to make women confident in what they are wearing . I ’ m there to give advice , say size up or size down , advocate more confidence and help with fashion assessments .”
The name of the boutique is from her nickname Lynnie , which she has had since she was a kid . Lou is from her husband ’ s stepfather . Born and raised in Coshocton County , she grew up in West Lafayette and attended Ridgewood schools .
“ We live near Plainfield now ,” Gadd said . “ Roscoe is a beautiful area , and we get the tourists too . It has its own little community , and I am happy to be a part of that . This is the perfect spot .”

Gadd is a hygienist at Coshocton Dentistry as well . Her store will be
open on Friday , Saturday and Sunday . Store hours are from 10 a . m . to 5 p . m .
Local team wins tournament

The 92nd annual Ohio Women ’ s Inter-City Bowling Tournament was held at Legacy Lanes & Lounge . Wills Excavating Team of Coshocton ( pictured ) was the team handicap champions with a score of 3,460 . Team members are Midge Reinbach , Debra Rogers , Stephanie Hawkins , Joan Sheets and Tina Chilcote . The event ran for eight weekends and 169 teams participated . This is the first time a team from Coshocton has won this handicap event .
