Foundation is hosting the Annual Member and Volun-
teer Appreciation Day, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The Canal Era Art
Contest judging will also take place during this time.
Members, volunteers and guests may view the art pieces
in the Lock Landing and Founder’s Gallery. Each piece
will be numbered and ballots will be available for every-
one to vote on their favorite piece.
The free events for RVF members and volunteers are
as follows: Living History Tours, Monticello III Canal
Boat rides, Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum admis-
sions, a light lunch at the Visitor Center patio and shelter
area, and all RVF members and volunteers will have the
opportunity to vote on the local Canal Era Art Contest
