Yoder signs with Walsh University
Tri-Valley baseball ’ s Trevor Yoder signed his letter of intent to continue his athletic and academic career this fall at Walsh University in North Canton .
Yoder was the starting catcher his senior year at TVHS , helping the Scotties to a 17-9 overall record , a sectional title win over Carrollton and a district semi-final win over Indian Valley . Yoder batted . 319 for the 2021 season with a home run and 17 RBI , and he scored 20 runs . He also earned second-team All- East District honors , as well as Special Mention laurels on the All-Muskingum Valley League team .

Lahna wins the A flight
“ Substituting 3 Worst Holes for Par ” was play of the day for Thursday Morning Ladies Golf League at River Greens on June 10 .
The A flight winner was Connie Lahna , 34 , and B flight was Jane Mautz , 41 . Other low scores were Lahna , 37 ; Bonnie Ramshaw , 41 ; Missy Vanderkam , 42 ; Mardella Rice , 43 ; Lynn Hill , 45 ; Deb Bucklew , 46 ; Mautz , 47 ; and Cathy Adams , 49 .
Richard is named to dean ’ s list
Kaitlyn Richard of Coshocton was named to Ohio Dominican University ’ s 2021 spring semester dean ’ s list .
In order to make the dean ’ s list , full-time undergraduate students must achieve a 3.5 GPA or better after taking a minimum of 12 credit hours .
