Coshoctonian nominations due on July 8
The Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce is now accepting nominations for the prestigious Coshoctonian Award . All nominations should be submitted by Thursday , July 8 .
The award recognizes and honors an individual ’ s long-term contribution to the well-being and economic climate of Coshocton County . This year ’ s recipient will be honored at the chamber ’ s annual dinner on Friday , Sept . 10 , 2021 .
Letters of nomination should be addressed to the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce , 200 N . Whitewoman Street , Coshocton , OH 43812 . All nominations should include an outline of the individual ’ s

For summer 2021 , Kno Ho Co Ashland Community Action will sponsor the Summer Food Service Program in Coshocton County . There is no sign up required . Lunch for kids 18 and under will be provided free at five locations in Coshocton County now through Aug . 6 , 2021 .

Re-nomination of potential candidates would be appropriate and is encouraged with an updated outline of their accomplishments . A committee consisting of chamber representatives , city and county officials , and a previous award winner will select this year ’ s recipient .
Edward E . Montgomery was the first recipient of the Coshoctonian Award in 1983 and Tom Edwards was last year ’ s honoree . Anyone having questions about the Coshoctonian Award should call the chamber office at 740-622-5411 .
Meals will be served in a “ Grab and Go ” format , that children are able to take with them and eat away from the delivery site . Parents can drive or walk through each site with their children to pick up their meals . A limited number of meals will be delivered to each site which will be handed out until gone .
Meals will be available Mondays through Fridays at the following locations and times : Meadows Apartments , 823 Magnolia St ., 11:30-11:45 a . m .; Ohio Family Counseling , 11:45 a . m .; Heritage Apartments , noon to 12:15 p . m .; Chestnut Crossing Apartments , 12:45 p . m .; Burt Park , 1-1:15 p . m .
