Cardinal Chorale presents concert with community choir COSHOCTON - The 25th edition of the Car- dinal Chorale will be in Coshocton for a Winter Pops Concert with special guests, the Coshocton Community Choir. The concert will be Sunday, Jan. 19, at 3 p.m. at The Presbyterian Church, 142 North Fourth Street, Coshocton. The chorale's 90-minute program will feature selections from their 2019 show, "Homeward Bound;" music that "will fill the soul and lift the spirit," as one listener described a chorale performance. Organized in the summer of 1995 by its conductor, Charles R. Snyder, the Cardi- nal Chorale is a select 40-voice traveling ensemble of high school and college sing- ers. In its 25-year history, the chorale has been invited to sing for a number of pro- fessional conferences and has performed on the campuses of Capital University, Muskingum University, Kent State Uni- versity, Ohio University, and Penn State University. The chorale has also sung for a number of state celebrations including the rededication of the Ohio Statehouse, Homeward Bound Sunday, Jan. 19 at 3 p.m. The Presbyterian Church, 142 North Fourth Street, Coshocton. Local members of the current chorale include Zade Adkins, Hope Asbury, An- nie Bosson, Sam Corbett, Jayvin Deeds, Josie Fornara, Devon Fortune, Kyla Geer, Ryan Gildow, Henry Hall, Jacob Head- ing, Sarah Heading, Lauren Johnson, Logan Lawrence, MaryAnn Lozowski, Jon Lyons, Colin McConnell, Harrison Orand, Kailyn Shalosky, Connor Ste- vens-Woolery, Liam Stevens-Woolery, Sami Tish, Quinn Wherley, and Erin Wilson. There is no admission charge for the concert, but an offering will be received to help cover the chorale's and commu- nity choir's expenses and to further their mission work.
