Jones enjoyed interviewing people passionate about helping
Every year when it ’ s time to think about my favorite stories , the first ones to come to mind are the interviews with people who are passionate about what they do . Coshocton is full of people who are passionate about making it a better place to live , people who are passionate about their interests , people who are passionate about helping others . Those are the stories that are always my favorite — the ones that inspire me to be a better person .
When thinking about making Coshocton even better , it ’ s easy to get inspired after a conversation with Amy or Bri at the chamber of commerce or Mary in the commissioner ’ s office . Their willingness to hear new ideas

A conversation with anyone involved with Our Town Coshocton is always fun . These volunteers are working hard to bring new entertainment and fun to the community and to help rebuild the downtown area . As someone who enjoyed all the summer concerts , I definitely appreciate that . We also have passionate people in the community band and choir who work so hard to put on concerts for people of all ages to enjoy .
I ’ ve had the opportunity to talk to Jenny and Emily in the extension office several times . Their passion and love for what they do is obvious to anyone who talks to them , and that passion is contagious .
The Hope Clinic celebrated its 15-year anniversary this year . This clinic is free for anyone who doesn ’ t have insurance , and the passion , faith and love that the volunteers have for this clinic is the biggest reason it is still going . Hope Clinic is a valuable asset to our community .

people need to know about this sensitive topic and they need to know it ’ s OK to talk about it . Families want to know their babies will be remembered .
It ’ s always fun to take pictures at the fair and to talk to all the teenagers who worked so hard on their projects . These young adults are so amazing and deserve so much praise for their dedication to their animals and other projects . And it ’ s always amazing to hear that when you ask what they have learned or what their favorite part is , it is almost always the friends they have made or that

Stories on the wonderful things our county does for people with disabilities are always a favorite of mine too , from Shelby Theatre and their sensoryfriendly movies to Legacy Lanes and their support , the Kiwanis Track and Field Days , and all the other activities our county Board of DD works so hard on . We are truly blessed there are so many caring people in our community .

And those donations go to other groups in the county such as the Firefighter ’ s Toy Chest to make Christmas even brighter for families .
I may not always remember the little details of the stories I write , but the passion people have is impossible to forget . As long as we have so many passionate people in our community , Coshocton can ’ t help but continue to grow bigger and better every year .
