Ohio Fair Managers Association honors Ward Karr
REYNOLDSBURG - Th irty-six individuals
were recently recognized at the 93rd
Ohio Fair Managers Association annual
convention at the Greater Columbus
Convention Center for outstanding
service to their local fairs and the list
included the late Ward Karr from Co-
shocton County.
Ohio’s 94 county and independent
fairs and the Ohio State Fair support
the local economy and help educate
the public about the importance of
agriculture and the many necessities
it provides, including food, clothing,
shelter, fuel and energy. In addition
Karr
to setting and approving the dates for
the independent and county fairs, the
department is responsible for helping to
assure the safety of amusement rides,
for monitoring livestock shows to help
assure honest competition, and for
coordinating animal health eff orts with
designated local veterinarians.

Zett y, Fowler united in marriage
COSHOCTON - Eleanor J. Zetty and John W. Fowler
were married Oct. 21, 2017, in Coshocton, at the gaze-
bo near the river, at Coshocton Village Inn and Suites.
Matron of honor was Christine Schulenberg,
lifelong friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Celia
Gress, cousin of the bride; Erin Zetty, sister-in-law
of the bride; Michelle Bachman, lifelong friend of
the bride and Grace Wright-Wilson, stepsister of the
bride.
Best man was Eric Chartier, lifelong friend of the
groom. Groomsmen were Ian Ackroyd, Elbert Platt,
Daniel Horn, lifelong friends of the groom and Joey
Solana, brother-in-law of the groom.
Flower girl was Lily Zetty, niece of the bride. Ring
bearer was Asher Feely, cousin to the groom.
Th e bride is the daughter of Donna J. Zetty-Wilson,
the late Leonard K. Zetty Jr. and Michael R. Wilson,
stepfather. Th e groom is the son of Deborah Fowler
and John Fowler, who was accompanied by his wife,
Debbie Ann Fowler.
Th e bride was escorted down the aisle by her broth-
er, Leonard B. Zetty.
Th e couple work and reside in Bradenton, Fla.

RVHS senior sharing
talents with community
Cole Wilson, a senior at River View High School is making
birdhouses, birdbaths, and bird feeders for his senior
project. Wilson fi nds the designs on the internet then his
mentor, Randy Thomas, makes the patt erns or creates
them himself. Wilson then assembles the product and
stains or paints them. He donated his OSU birdhouse to
the River View Homecoming Auction, which brought
$50 for United Way. He then donated four for the Higher
Hopes Auction, all of which were sold. The arboretum
senior project is going to place all three in various parts
of the arboretum. If any nursing home would like any of
