The Coshocton County Coordinated Transportation Agency ( CCCTA ) will NOT be charging Public Transit fares for rides within Coshocton County effective Monday , January 3 , 2022 .
Out-of-County public fare rates are based on mileage : General Public $ 0.50 per mile • Elderly / Disabled $ 0.25 per mile
* ELDERLY & DISABLED ( E & D ) DISCOUNTS Half-price reduced fares are available for elderly and disabled persons . To receive the discounted E & D fare , riders will be required to fill out an E & D Application which can be obtained by calling the CCCTA office or visiting our website . Proof of age or disability is required to be submitted with the form .
FARE PASS CARDS ( PARAPASS ) A pass card system has been established to allow passengers to purchase trips in advance reducing the need for exact change . These are highly encouraged !!
Pass cards are available in any increment amount up to $ 100.00 . $ 1.00 per every $ 10.00 purchased is applied to your pass for free . ( Example : purchase $ 100.00 pass , get $ 110.00 ).
ParaPass Cards are available for purchase in the CCCTA office Monday through Friday 7:30am — 4:00pm !
ABOUT CCCTA SERVICE :
• CCCTA is a General Public Demand Response system
• Shuttles operate Monday through Friday 5:30am — 6:30pm
• We operate statewide
• Requests are filled on a first-come , first-served basis
• Our fleet is wheelchair / mobility device accessible
• Automated ride reminder notification system
• Shuttles do not operate under Level II or Level III weather emergencies
CY 2022 CLOSURES CCCTA does not operate on Saturdays or Sundays or on the following Federal Holidays : New Year ’ s Day , Martin Luther King Day , President ’ s Day , Memorial Day , Juneteenth , Independence Day , Labor Day , Columbus Day , Veteran ’ s Day , Thanksgiving Day , Day After Thaksgiving *, Christmas Day *( not a Federal Holiday , but CCCTA is closed ). Federal Holidays that fall on Saturdays are observed on the Friday before and Holidays that fall on Sundays are observed on the following Monday .
The office / request line will be closed on the following Fridays from 12pm-2pm for Staff Development : February 11th , May 13th , August 12th , and November 1st The office / request line will be closed and Shuttles will not operate from 11am-1pm for Staff Development : Friday , April 22nd and Friday , September 16th
