Watch Miller compete at Miss America

Atemperature of 18 F on the morning of Jan . 5 didn ’ t stop Coshocton residents from coming out to cheer for Coshocton ’ s own Miss Ohio Madison Miller at her send-off for the Miss America Pageant in Orlando , Florida .
Miller spoke with those who came to her family ’ s Miller Funeral Home and waved to those along the procession route out of town . The procession , escorted by the Coshocton Fire Department and Coshocton Sheriff ’ s deputies left Miller Funeral Home at 7 a . m ., headed down Main Street , turned right on Third Street at the court square , left on Chestnut Street and went across the bridge .
Miller had a full escort all the way to the airport in Columbus . Sheriff offices including Coshocton , Muskingum , Licking and Franklin escorted her to the airport . The Coshocton Fire Department and Frazeysburg , Hanover and West Licking fire departments had equipment set up along the route and honked when Miller went by .
Each county deputy met on the highway and did a sort of relay . Miller ’ s cousin Katlyn and husband Austin Norton , owners of Liberty Services Diesel who sponsored her through her journey , had their truck lit up sitting on the overpass as the motorcade went by .
“ We have supported her through all of this , and we will be in Florida next weekend ,” Austin Norton said .
“ I am so excited but also so grateful ,” Madison Miller said . “ I will be heading down to Orlando and reuniting with all my friends , meeting my roommate , and getting to relax a little bit . I will have my final time of solitude before I meet people for the next 10 days , so I need a little time to prepare myself .”
With shouts of “ good luck ” and
“ we love you ,” she was off and followed by a caravan of supporters .
The Miss America Pageant will be Sunday , Jan . 14 . Miss America and Miss America ’ s Teen competitions will be livestreamed at www . WatchMissAmerica . com . The streaming bundle includes all preliminary competitions and teen finals with exclusive bonus coverage of events like the Red Gala Fashion Show . The Miss America finals will be free to the public to watch for Mayor Mark Mills offered congratulations and an encouraging word to Miss Ohio Madison Miller . the first time since 2019 . Miss America ’ s official channel , Watch- MissAmerica . com , will carry the finals live on Sunday , Jan . 14 at 7 p . m . Subscribe to the @ MissAmericaOfficial YouTube channel with notifications on so you don ’ t miss the grand finale . The show will upload to the YouTube channel the day after it airs live .
