Authorization of the treasurer for the payment of bills , advance on tax settlement , amending certificate of estimated resources , borrowing funds , appropriation modifications , opening fund , depository accounts , change funds and transfer of funds .
Authorization of the superintendent to approve student activity and student field trips , professional leave , employment pending laws of employment and purchases for normal operations of the districts within the restrictions set forth by appropriations not to exceed $ 15,000 .
Approval and adoption of the FY 2019 Tax Budget available for public inspection 10 days prior to the budget hearing .
Finance Committee Meeting was held with all requirements of Section 121:22 of the ORC and implementing rules adopted by the board was complied with for this meeting .
Regular board of education meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance followed by these approved items :
• Minutes of previous finance meeting and regular meeting
• Commendations to all district employees for their show of support and participation in the many holiday expressions of giving to the students in the community . Each school provided countless items of food , clothing , toys , and many special gifts for many families in the community and the humane animal shelter .
• Ridgewood Elementary School for achieving 85 % on the 3rd grade reading guarantee on the fall 2017 ELA State Assessment Test .
• Recognizing January as the board of education appreciation month .
• Treasurer ’ s report was approved
• Superintendent ’ s recommendations : * Agreement with Coshocton County DD to hire an instructional aide * Final reading of several policy and procedures . Next regular board of education meeting will be held on
Tuesday , Feb . 20 at 7 a . m . at Ridgewood Elementary School .
