Gloria Jean Cherry , age 82 , of Coshocton passed away at the Morrison House in Zanesville on January 2 , 2025 , after a short illness . Lovingly known as Jean , she graduated in 1960 from Salineville High School . She moved to Coshocton to begin a lifelong career at Shaw Barton Company where she worked for 42 years . Jean excelled at many positions throughout the years , and she could type over 100 words per minute . Jean met her future husband at a rooming house on Chestnut Street . She married Sam Cherry on April 14 , 1962 . Jean was preceded in death by her parents Dean and Margaret Carter , brother Ray and her loving husband Sam . Jean enjoyed flowers , sewing , reading mystery novels , watching crime shows and feeding the birds and squirrels . Closest to her heart were her grandsons Brody
Gloria Cherry
and Logan , and most recently her great grandson Bryson . During those difficult days , his giggles and beautiful smile were a treasure . Surviving family , daughter Gina ( Don ), Brody ( Abbie ), Bryson , and Logan ( Miryah ). There are no services planned at this time . The family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to the Morrison House in Zanesville , Ohio .

Robert Miller
Robert E . Miller Jr . age 66 , of Coshocton passed away on Thursday , January 30 , 2025 , at Roscoe Gardens , following a sudden illness . He was born on March 27 , 1958 , in Coshocton , to the late Robert E . and Alice Jean Miller . He was a 1976 graduate of Coshocton High School and went to work at Clow / Mcwane . He worked in maintenance for nearly 45 years . On December 30 , 2000 , he married the love of his life , Jonni ( Baker ) Miller , who survives . He loved sports , cheering on the Cleveland Browns , Cleveland
Indians , and The Ohio State Buckeyes . In his later years , he enjoyed golfing and favored the Hilltop Golf Course and River Greens . He looked forward to his retiree dinners and catching up with his former coworkers . He was a member of the American Legion Post 65 .
Along with his wife , he is survived by his daughter-in-law , Jennifer Miller ; granddaughter , Loren “ Belle ” Miller ; siblings , Becky ( George ) Miller , Rick “ Mousie ” ( Becky ) Miller and Donnie ( Jan ) Miller . Also surviving are many aunts , uncles , cousins
, nieces , nephews and Shanna , Ja ’ Nya , Carter , Coby and Devin .
He is preceded in
proud mother to Angela Lyon ( Zak ), Ashley Shaw ( Scott ), and Amanda Bevan ( Ryan ). Kathy ’ s greatest joy came from her six grandchildren : Zoe Mc- Fadden , Izabella and Jaxon Lyon , and Kaiden , Korbin , and Gracelynn Shaw .
Kathy was preceded in death by her parents , James and Emily Keating
; brothers Dennis and Jimmy Keating ; sister Linda Hoffbeck ( Phillip ); and nephew Brent Hoffbeck . She is survived by her loving husband Tony , daughters , grandchildren , sisters Carol Anderson ( Randy ) and Mary Gronlund ( Russ ), along with numerous nieces , nephews , and beloved cats .

A casual memorial gathering will be held at the Miller Funeral Home on Saturday , February 8 , 2025 , from 1pm to 4pm . A short service will begin at 4pm with Pastor Deb Quillen officiating . Per his wishes , a cremation will take place and burial will be at a later time .
