Youth financial support committee plans reverse raffle
The Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee will hold its reverse raffle on Friday , March 7 at the Coshocton Commissioners Community Room . Doors will open at 5 p . m ., dinner will be at 6 p . m . and the raffle will start at 7 p . m . Tickets are a $ 100 donation .
Only 298 tickets will be presold . One ticket will be given away as an early bird special prize , and one will be raffled off during the evening of the raffle . Each raffle ticket offers a $ 10,000 grand prize opportunity , a free catered buffet meal by Mayor ’ s Corner on the night of the drawing , a chance to win other cash prizes and a chance to support the Coshocton County 4-H program .
Additional meal tickets may be purchased for $ 25 . Each meal ticket offers one meal and a chance at one drawing for $ 100 . Meal tickets are not eligible for the cash prizes . All meal tickets must be purchased by Friday , Feb . 7 .
There will be door prizes , silent auction items , live auction items , 50 / 50 drawings and cash raffles throughout the evening .
You must be 21 years or older to purchase a ticket or to attend the event . Ticket holders need not be present to win . Ticket holders may send an agent to act on their behalf but must complete and submit

Last year the Coshocton County Youth Financial Support Committee raffle raised a little more than $ 30,000 .
the reverse raffle committee permission for an agent letter at registration the evening of the event . Letters can be obtained from any committee member . The final two ticket holders ( or their agent ) must be present to decide on disbursement of final winnings .
Tickets will be drawn from the barrel one at a time and opened , beginning at 7 p . m . After a ticket is drawn from the barrel , it will be opened and eliminated . In the event of a controversy , the reverse raffle committee shall rule . The decision of the reverse raffle committee shall be final . One $ 100

— Purchasing water bottles for every camper and counselor who went to 4-H Camp .
— Sponsoring every 4-H camper by discounting their registration by $ 25 .
— Paying every counselor ’ s fee for 4-H Camp .
— Sending four youth to Ohio 4-H Sea Camp at Kelley ’ s Island 4-H Camp .
— Sending two youth to Ohio 4-H Shooting Sports Camp at Canters Cave 4-H Camp .
— Sending one youth to Adaptive Adventures 4-H Camp at Canters Cave .
— Covering all the costs and fees associated with 4-H Cloverbud Camp to make it completely free for participants .
— Making a $ 10 add-on for every youth ( 4-H and FFA ) who sold an animal through the junior fair livestock sale .
— Purchasing shirts for all the Cloverbuds who attended 4-H Cloverbud Camp .
