CHS boys fall to Tri-Valley
On Jan . 21 the Coshocton seventhgrade boys basketball team lost to the visiting Tri-Valley Scotties by a score of 46-17 .
The home team got off to a slow start in the first half , and the Scotties led 34-4 at the intermission . The Redskins showed a lot of heart and outscored the Scotties 13-12 in the second half .
Coshocton was led in scoring by Quinten Summers with six points . Parker Loomis had five , Jared Collins had three , Kabe Bylaw had two and rounding out the scoring was Aiden Garabrandt with one .
CHS swimmers compete at
home
Coshocton High School swimming competed against Big Walnut , Newark and River View on Jan . 23 at the Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium .
Finishing overall individually for the girls were Ella Duling , fifth 200 free ; Autumn Jones , first 200 IM ; Kendal Jackson , first 400 free ; Ella Baylor , first ; and Chloe Hall , fourth in 100 breaststroke . The CHS girls 200 medley relay and 400 free relay consisting of Autumn Jones , Ella Baylor , Kendal Jackson and Chloe Hall finished second , and the 200 free relay of Chloe Hall , Cady Jackson , Ella Baylor and Autumn Jones finished second .
Finishing overall individually for the boys were Jayden Jones , third 200 IM , and Ayden Stein , fifth 100 back . The CHS boys 200 free relay consisting of Ayden Stein , Jayden Jones , Connor McCabe and Tommy Larntz finished fifth .
On Jan . 22 they competed against Tri-Valley , John Glenn and River View at the Muskingum Recreation Center . Finishing overall individually for the girls were Ella Duling , fourth 200 free ; Ella Baylor , third 200 IM ; Kendal Jackson , fourth 500 free ; and Autumn Jones , third 100 back . The 200 medley relay of Autumn Jones , Ella Baylor , Kendal Jackson and Cady Jackson finished third and second in the 400 free relay .
For the CHS boys Ayden Stein finished fourth in the 200 IM . The 200 medley relay and 200 free relay consisting of Ayden Stein , Jayden Jones , Connor McCabe and Tommy Larntz finished fourth overall .
River View
Lady Bears win on senior
night
Wednesday night , Jan . 27 was senior night as the River View Lady Bears hosted Tuscarawas Central Catholic at Legacy Lanes .
The Lady Bears pulled out a tight bowling victory 2,041-2,024 over the Lady Saints . The Lady Bears were fittingly led by seniors Allie Murray , 326 two-game set , and Madalyn Cutshall , 322 two-game set .
