When Elizabeth and her family were here in December , she wanted to see some of the pictures from our trip out west . During the summer before Jeff ’ s senior year at River View , we took our two-door pickup truck with our 8-foot Fleetwing slide-on camper along a southern route to California and back .
We saw pictures of the Petrified Forest , Phoenix , the Grand Canyon and some places we forgot we visited . When we saw her wearing the red T-shirt , that brought back memories of a hard lesson she learned when she was probably 9 years old .
Sometime during our travels , we had decided each of us could have a T-shirt as a souvenir from some place we visited , our own choice .
When we were outside San Diego , we stayed at a campground that had a camp store with souvenirs . Elizabeth saw a red T-shirt she wanted . In the upper left , it had a white outline
NEWS jsellers @ alonovus . com of a coyote howling at the moon , along with the name of the campground . We told her we would visit many more places that would probably have T- shirts , but she didn ’ t want to wait . She wanted that one , now .
The next day we went to the San Diego Zoo , the biggest zoo we had ever visited , and saw many exotic animals and birds . I don ’ t remember about Glenn , but Jeff and I chose T-shirts with pictures of colorful parrots and other long-tailed birds .
In our attic I think we have Jeff ’ s T-shirt from the San Diego Zoo .
Getting back to T-shirts , you can imagine how bad Elizabeth wanted a beautiful T-shirt too . But she had to be content with her red one . It was a bitter lesson she learned that day .
In December , while telling her children about her disappointment , she said that was why she took so long as a teenager to shop

BF-162058 for a bathing suit or for a pair of jeans , et cetera . She wanted to look at all her options before she made a choice . Then she always wondered if she made the right one .
This story could be applied to other situations in life , where people got what they wanted early , and now that what they got is gone and the rest of us are finally getting good things , they want what we ’ ve got . Sometimes it ’ s hard to live with the consequences of our choices .
