Jeff Drennen Dealerships makes donation to CCCC

The Coshocton County Joint Vocational School District received a donation of $ 105,000 in automotive parts for the auto technology program from Jeff Drennen Dealerships .
“ This generous contribution provides our students with enhanced
hands-on learning opportunities , ensuring they gain practical experience with industry standard equipment ,” said Matt Colvin , superintendent at the Coshocton County Career Center .
Steve Hall and Josh Ward from the Jeff Drennen Dealerships in Coshocton visited the career center on Feb . 14 to make the announcement to auto technology students .
“ Jeff is a big supporter of Coshocton ,” Hall said . “ At both dealerships service and auto technicians are a big part of our business . These parts are obsolete but still new , so we wanted to donate them to you guys to learn with .”
Colvin said this donation directly benefits the students by providing them with real-world

training resources that will better prepare them for careers in the automotive industry .
“ We are incredibly grateful for Jeff Drennen Dealerships ’ generosity and ongoing support of our school and community ,” Colvin said . “ On behalf of our students , team and the entire Coshocton County Career Center family , we thank Jeff Drennen Dealerships for their unwavering commitment to education and their dedication to shaping the future of our workforce . giving , and we are blessed to have him as part of our community .”
John Large , auto technology instructor , said , “ This means a lot to have newer parts to work with . Some of ours are pretty old , so this will really help .”
The children ’ s resale event , KidCycle , will mark its fifth anniversary in April . To celebrate , organizers plan to add several activities to the schedule on Saturday , April 5 .
They are looking for people who can face paint , monitor a bounce house , help kids play carnival games , talk with kids as they color pictures , assist with simple crafts and put together small baggies of snacks .
“ I hope to make this a super-fun time for the kids ,” said Kelly Loper , KidCycle organizer . “ That ’ s what KidCycle is all about .”
Activities will be held April 5 from 10 a . m . to 2 p . m . at Clark Community Center , 1390 State Route 83 , Millersburg . All suggestions and help are welcome .
