Auditions are scheduled for youth choirs
The two youth ensembles of the Coshocton Community Choir have scheduled auditions in February . Singers in grades 4-12 may audition for the Coshocton Singers and the Coshocton Youth Chorale on Monday , Feb . 6 through Wednesday , Feb . 8 . Auditions will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church , 1500 Pleasant

Students grades 9-12 are invited to audition for the Coshocton Youth Chorale . Rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 5:45- 7:15 p . m . at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church . Recent Youth Chorales have included singers from Coshocton , Ridgewood , River View , the Coshocton County Career

Catholic Schools ’ Week will be celebrated
Sacred Heart joined other accredited Catholic elementary and high schools throughout the Diocese of Columbus in a celebration of Catholic Schools ’ Week from Jan . 29 through Feb . 4 .
The mission of Catholic schools is to provide a faith-based education that supports the child academically and spiritually and prepares students for future success .
Sacred Heart planned several activities to celebrate the week . Students had crazy hair and sock days , a karaoke dance party with Fr . Tom , and service projects . Students also had the opportunity to design the next Sacred Heart T-shirt to be printed and purchased by the PTO for all students and staff .
Sacred Heart School
benefits the students and their families with higher standardized test scores , attendance rates and smaller class sizes .
Sacred Heart is an accredited school with more than 100 students preschool through seventh grade serving the Coshocton City , River View and Ridgewood school districts . All Sacred Heart teachers are licensed by the State of Ohio . Special education , speech and language , music , physical education , and art also are provided .

Weaving workshop added
The Roscoe Village Foundation is adding another weaving workshop date . Come learn how to make two mug rugs . Main weaver Rami will instruct each participant on portable looms , the techniques used to weave . Sign up online .
There ’ s a $ 35 fee for nonmembers and a $ 30 fee for members , and it includes instructions and all materials .
