All Paws on Deck holding fundraiser for its new nonprofit

Haley Vickers , owner of All Paws on Deck Grooming , recently heard a story from one of her employees . The employee said two kittens had been dumped near her property . One kitten had died , and the other needed medical help . She reached out to several organizations and couldn ’ t find anyone to help . Vickers decided to start a nonprofit to help animals in need .
“ I chose Pawsitive Pawprint because I wanted positive in the name , and dealing with dogs , it ’ s automatically changed to Pawsitive , so that ’ s how I got that part , and then Pawprint , I chose because of the saying , ‘ You left a footprint on this world ,’ but I didn ’ t want to use footprint , so obviously Pawprint it was ,” Vickers said .
Vickers said working in the pet industry , they see how ugly the world can be at times .
“ I want to make a difference . I want to be a helping hand . Everyone falls on hard times . It ’ s just reality . And most of the times , the animals are the ones that suffer . So we want to be that helping hand ,” Vickers said .
The mission of Pawsitive Pawprint is to protect and advocate for the wellbeing of all animals by providing needed veterinary care , spay and neuter services , and comprehensive welfare programs .

The staff at All Paws on Deck likes to have fun and knows laughter is the best medicine .
They plan to use community outreach and education to eliminate suffering , prevent overpopulation and promote responsible pet ownership , ensuring a world where every animal is treated with respect , kindness and love .
While Pawsitive Pawprint is still in the process of being approved , Vickers and her staff decided to start fundraising so they could help animals as soon as possible . The staff at All Paws on Deck likes to have fun and knows laughter is the best medicine .
“ I saw our band for our local school district do the ‘ You ’ ve been flocked ,’ and I wanted to make it dogrelated but give someone something to laugh about and just bring joy to their lives . So I thought , ‘ Let ’ s do dogs pooping ,’” Vickers said .
The signs were made by Lightening Signs in New Philadelphia , and Vickers said the signs are beyond her expectations .
“ After we figured out how we wanted the dogs to look , we needed something to coincide with the pooping dogs . So Liz , our receptionist , said , ‘ Let ’ s gear it towards Valentine ’ s Day , as in you ’ ve been dumped ,’ and it stuck ,” Vickers said .

have had a lot of dumps already . “ We ’ ve had mothers dump on daughters , sisters dump on sisters and children dump on parents . It ’ s been so much fun sneaking in and putting the signs up before getting caught by ring cameras .”
All Paws on Deck will deliver the signs to anywhere within 30 miles of their shop in West Lafayette . You also can buy insurance for $ 30 to be sure your house never gets dumped on , and if you do get dumped , you can pay $ 20 to have a “ specialist ” come and remove the

“ It ’ s honestly been a super-fun fundraiser and one I hope to continue doing . The laughs are endless , and all the while , they are supporting a great cause to help local animals in our area ,” Vickers said .
