Th ese books were a donation from the Brownstone Book Fund, a private foundation in New York City, interested in fostering early read- ing, a love of books and encouraging parents and children to read together. Come to the Coshocton Public Library Chil- dren’s Room to explore and enjoy our new collection. Th e children’s room at the Coshocton Public Library off ers an exciting and educational experience for kids from birth through age 12. Colorful, interactive toys invite children to play and learn, while programs for every age make the library a great place for a family activity, a story time, a S.T.E.A.M. adventure, and much more. Montgomery Jr. Piano Competition to be held April 7, are underway. Th is will be the 31st competition which was estab- lished in 1987 by Th e Montgom- ery Foundation to honor the wish- es of Edward E. Montgomery Jr. Th e participants perform on his piano that currently rests in the Founder’s Gallery in the Visitor Center in Historic Roscoe Village. Th e senior division competition is open to participants residing in Coshocton County in grades nine through 12. Junior division format includes participants in grades seven through nine. Ninth grad- ers have their choice of division to compete. Th e winner of the senior division will receive a $1,000 cash prize while the junior division will be awarded a $250 cash prize.
