RHS hosting an alumni game , scholarship dinner
The Ridgewood Boys Basketball Booster Club will host the boys alumni game and a pulledpork dinner to benefit Trevor Griffith ’ s Memorial Scholarship Fund on Sunday , Dec . 29 .
All Ridgewood High School boys alumni are welcome , and the player cost will be $ 25 , which includes a T-shirt . Teams will be determined based on graduating class , and family / friends are welcome to watch the game free of charge . Money and forms are due by
Wednesday , Dec . 18 to guarantee a shirt and may be turned in to coach Dolick .
The dinner will cost $ 12 per meal and will include pulled pork made by JB ’ s Smokin ’ Barbeque , cheesy potatoes , baked beans , a roll , dessert and bottled water . Dinners will be served in the high school cafeteria from 4:30-7 p . m ., and tickets are now on sale . See a high school player or coach for tickets . They also will be sold at the concession stand during junior high and high school games . Dinner money also is due by Dec . 18 to preorder the pork . All proceeds of the dinner will go to the Trevor Griffith Memorial Scholarship Fund .

Weaver on dean ’ s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic
Michael Weaver of Coshocton was named to the 2024 summer trimester dean ’ s list at Palmer College of Chiropractic ’ s main campus in Davenport , Iowa .

Lady Bears beat Newcomerstown
On Nov . 27 the River View girls bowling team hosted the Newcomerstown Lady Trojans at Legacy Lanes . The Lady Bears protected their den and clawed out a victory over the visiting Lady Trojans 1,847-1,380 to improve to 2-0 on the season .
Leading the way for the Lady Bears were sophomore Kaylie Bryan with games of 210 and 156 for a 366 two-game set and
freshman Morgan Rowe with games of 193 and 138 for a 331 two-game set . Also chipping in with a
172 game was sophomore Karley Stocker .
The Lady Bears JV also was in action uncontested at Legacy Lanes . Leading the way for the JV was junior Zoe Hardesty with a 221 two-game set , junior Kyler Leist with a 170 ( PR ) two-game set , freshman Shannon Durben with a 162 ( PR ) two-game set and junior Summer Dorsey with a 154 ( PR ) two-game set .
