McKee benefit set for Dec . 14
A spaghetti dinner benefit will take place Saturday , Dec . 14 from 3-7 p . m . at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle to assist the family of Gabriel McKee . On Oct . 15 , 2023 , two weeks before his third birthday , McKee had his first seizure . The next year sent him on a medical journey with several bumps in the road to find his diagnosis . McKee has a rare form of genetic epilepsy , known as MAST3 related developmental and epileptic encephalopathy , and then he was later diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder . Proceeds from this benefit will go toward establishing a fund for a service dog and to cover medical expenses .
Dinner tickets are $ 10 per person and include spaghetti , salad , a dinner roll , desserts and drinks . To-go options will be available . There also will be tickets for assorted baskets . Tickets are $ 5 for one or five tickets for $ 20 .
Checks can be made payable to Michael or Sarah McKee or in benefit of Gabriel McKee .
