Commissioners meet in regular session

COSHOCTON – The Coshocton County Commissioners
met in regular session on Wednesday, Nov. 27 to ap-
prove their agenda.
The following items were reviewed and approved:
• A motion to sign Resolution 2019-076 for the 2020
bed rental agreement with Muskingum County Com-
missioners for two bed spaces each day and one addi-
tional bed to be used as a floating bed as requested by
Doug Schonauer, probate/juvenile court administrator.
• Receive the dog warden’s report for the week ending
Nov. 25 with four dogs picked up by the warden, three
dogs brought in as strays, two dogs euthanized, 10 dog
licenses sold, 11 dogs sold, three dogs redeemed, seven
dogs per owner surrender, six citations issued, 37 calls
handled, for a total of $430 in fees collected.
• Receive the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Monthly
Transport Expense Report for the months of January
2019 through October 2019.
• A motion to sign a request for payment and status of
funds report for Grant B-C-17-1-AP-1 in the amount of
$5,750 and Grant B-C-1AP-2 in the amount of $9,250 as
requested by John Cleek, CDC of Ohio.
• Receive the auditor’s certificate that the total ap-
propriations from each fund do not exceed the official
estimate of resources.
• Receive the amended official certificate of estimated
resources dated Nov. 26 from the Coshocton County
Budget Commission.
Christmas cantata to be presented at Roscoe UMC
COSHOCTON - On Sunday, Dec. 15, during the 10:30 a.m.
service, the music department of the Roscoe United
Methodist Church will present a Christmas cantata
entitled “Waiting for Christmas” arranged and written
by Marty Parks.
The 20 voice choir will be accompanied by a 13 piece
instrumental ensemble, piano and organ. There will be
narration and an impersonation of a little girl who wrote
a letter to her Nana over 100 years ago about the excite-
ment of Christmas. At the end of the musical presenta-
tion, the choir and interested singers from the congre-
gation may join together in singing Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus. Their dress rehearsal on Wednesday, Dec. 11, at
7 p.m. is open to the public as well.
