Wednesday Card Club thanks sheriff ’ s office

The local Wednesday Card Club wanted to show its appreciation to the Coshocton County Sheriff ’ s Office for all its dedication , hard work and support for the safety of the community .
On behalf of the club , members Roma Vance and Nancy Scott brought lunch and Christmas cookies to the sheriff ’ s office on Dec . 18 .
“ This was done out of respect and gratitude for the great work they do in keeping the community safe and bringing help and aid when and where ever needed ,” Vance said . “ We thank Sheriff Rogers , Capt . Dean Hettinger and the entire department for their commitment to the Coshocton community , and we encourage others to show their

Richard named to Ohio Dominican dean ’ s list

Kaitlyn Richard of Coshocton was named to Ohio Dominican University ’ s 2020 fall semester dean ’ s list .
In order to make the dean ’ s list , full-time undergraduate students
must achieve a 3.5 GPA or better after taking a minimum of 12 credit hours .

Alzheimer ’ s Association provides tips and tools

The Alzheimer ’ s Association Greater East Ohio Area Chapter will host a free four-week webinar series on caregiver resources and wellness .
The one-hour sessions will be every Thursday in January from 2-3 p . m ., starting Jan . 7 , and will cover topics that range from healthy lifestyles for your brain to managing caregiver stress and burnout .

Capital posts its fall honors lists

Capital University announced Jack Sorrell of Warsaw was named to the provost ’ s list for the fall semester .
To be named to the provost ’ s list , full-time students must achieve a GPA of 3.7-3.849 .
Capital University also shared its president ’ s list honorees for the fall semester .
The president ’ s list indicates the highest level of academic distinction . To be named to the president ’ s list , students must achieve a GPA of at least 3.85 .
The list includes Coshocton residents Will Fortune , Katey Hardesty and Althea Szabo .
