Beer , Bourbon and Bites set

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum ’ s premier winter dinner affair , Beer , Bourbon & Bites , will be held Saturday , Jan . 22 . This event will feature six pairings of bourbon , craft beer or wine with a culinary treat . Doors will open at 6:30 p . m ., and the pairings will be served from 7-9 p . m . and followed by a social hour .

Patrons will need to select a type of pairing — beer , bourbon or wine — with their reservations . Guests collect each pairing from each of the six stations , moving at their own pace .

Tickets are $ 65 and $ 55 for Friends of the Museum . Nonalcoholic tickets also are available for $ 35 . Paid reservations by check , credit card or cash must be received by Friday , Jan . 14 . Beer , Bourbon & Bites is a fundraising event organized by the Friends of the Museum ’ s board . All attendees will receive a three-month friends membership , which includes free museum admission .

Magic & Mayhem will amaze audiences of all ages at the Performing Arts Center at Kent State University Tuscarawas on Saturday , Jan . 8 at 7:30 p . m .

Magic & Mayhem is a combination of comedy and magic . The show features Darren “ Dizzy ” Partridge , who has been thrilling audiences around the globe , from the celebrated Apollo Theatre in London ’ s West End to the Sydney Opera House . Partridge also has been featured as The Trickster & The Showman in the largest touring magic show in the world , The Illusionists .
