Shelly R . Mullens , 59 , of Coshocton passed away at The Ohio State University Medical Center on Tuesday , Dec . 14 , 2021 .
Shelly was born on Dec . 5 , 1962 , in Norfolk , VA to the late Jeff and Gladys ( Polcyn ) Holskey .
In her earlier years , she attended COTC for nursing . Shelly also worked at Kellogg ’ s and was currently working at Kraft in Coshocton .
She was a member of New Life Ministries , loved gardening , making lotions and soaps but her true passion was spending time with her family , especially her grandchildren .
She is survived by her husband , Larry Mullens ;
George N . Holland , 84 , of Conesville , joined the love of his life , Cecelia A . Holland in Heaven on Sunday , Dec . 12 , 2021 , at his home . George was born Dec . 27 , 1936 , in Chandlersville , to the late George S . and Mary

George leaves to cherish his memory , his
Matthews , Amara Edie , Shawn Wheeland and Justin ( Kylie ) Mullens ; siblings , Lori Holskey Verhelle , Doug Holskey and Denise Holskey , all of Coshocton ; and several nieces and nephews .
Per Shelly ’ s wishes , a cremation will take place .
Calling hours were held at the Miller Funeral Home , 639 Main Street , on Wednesday , Dec . 29 , 2021 , from 5:30-6:30 p . m . with a memorial service at 6:30 p . m . with Mark Granger officiating . Interment took place at a later date in South Lawn Cemetery .

Phyllis E . ( Bertsche ) Knuth , 96 , passed away Tuesday , Dec . 21 , 2021 at Altercare of Coshocton .
She was the daughter of the late Dr .’ s Christopher A . and Ella J . ( Munson ) Bertsche of Crestline . She graduated from Crestline High School and the United States Nurse Corp of WWII at Fairview Hospital School of Nursing in Cleveland ( 1943-1947 ). She was a member of the Nellie United Methodist Church .
Other than her parents , she was preceded in death by her husband , David C . Knuth ; a daughter , Jo Ann Knuth ; a sister , V . Joan Spoerl-Shell ; a brother , Ross ; and a niece , Amy Francis .
Phyllis is survived by a daughter , Sandra R . Knuth of The Villages , FL ; a granddog , “ Riley ”; and five nieces .

Goodwill to build new retail , donation center
Goodwill Industries Inc . and the Coshocton Port Authority announced construction will start on a new 10,500-square-foot retail and donation center located at 310 Whitewoman St . in Coshocton .
Goodwill has purchased the 1.586-acre property that sits west of state Route 16 from the Coshocton Port Authority . This new and larger retail shop and donation area will have a pull-in dropoff option to best serve customers and donors . It is anticipated the new location will be completed
