CHS swimmers open season

The Coshocton High School swim season opener was held Dec . 2 . The Redskins competed in a tri-meet against River View and Heath High School . Scoring points individually for the girls were Autumn Jones , first 200 free and third 100 back ; Kendal Jackson , second 200 free and third 400 free ; Ella Baylor , first 100 breast and third 200 IM ; and Chloe Hall , third in both the 50 free and 100 free . Also placing second in both the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay were Jones , Baylor , Jackson and Hall .

CHS also placed third in both the 200 free relay and the 400 free relay including Abby McVay , Anna Jansen , Ella Duling and Cady Jackson .

Scoring individual points for the boys were Connor McCabe , third in both the

50 free and 100 free , and Aiden Stein , third in 100 back .

CHS boys placed fourth in the 200 medley relay and third in the 200 free relay that included Stein , Jones , McCabe and Tommy Larntz .

River View

Lady Bears pick up bowling win

The Lady Bears traveled to Garaway for league action in bowling . The Lady Bears came away with a victory by a score of 2,198-1,900 . Leading the way for River View was Allie Murray with games of 205 and 220 for a 425 set . Also chipping in and setting personal records were Benni Winland with a PR 209 game , Saylor Starkey with a PR 134 game and PR 246 set , and Madalyn Cutshall with a 215 game and PR 363 set . The Lady Bears are now 2-0 in league play .

RV swimmers win tri-meet

River View boys and girls varsity swimming both defeated Coshocton and Heath in a tri-meet at the Janet Jones Mulligan natatorium on Dec . 2 .

In individual results for the girls , Carolyn Cox won the 100 free ( 1:12.75 )

and the 100 back ( 1:19.90 ), and Raychel Smalley won the 50 free ( 34.81 ). In relays Cox , Britton McCoy , Maryann Lozowski and Smalley won the 200 medley ( 2:34.09 ); Cox , Michaela White , McCoy and Smalley won the 200 free ( 2:19.35 ); and Lozowski , Emily Williams , Cindy Keneda and White won the 400 free ( 5:56.83 ).

For the boys team , Coen Bible won the 200 ( 2:19.67 ) and 100 free ( 1:01.09 ), Cole Tatro won the 100 fly and the 100 breast ( 1:19.28 ), Zachariah Phillips won the individual medley ( 2:41.96 ), JT Roberts won the 50 free ( 26.53 ), Evan McPeak won the 400 free ( 5:39.39 ), and Brady Philabaum won the 100 back ( 1:09.95 ). In relays Philabaum , Phillips , Tatro and Roberts won the 200 medley ( 2:01.72 ); Phillips , Roberts , Bible and Brayden Karr won the 200 free ( 1:48.55 ); and Philabaum , Malek Better , Tatro and Bible won the 400 free ( 4:20.95 ).

On Dec . 7 River View competed again against Union Local , Barnesville and host Coshocton at the Janet Jones Mulligan Natatorium .

Winning individual events for the girls were Mary Ann Lozowski in the individual medley ( 3:27.09 ) and the 400 free ( 6:09.57 ) and Carolyn Cox in the 100 back ( 1:20.66 ). The relay of Lozowski , Cox , Michaela White and Raychel Smalley placed first in the 200 ( 2:20.20 ) and 400 free ( 5:19.65 ).

Winners for the boys were Coen Bible in the 200 ( 2:17.75 ) and 100 free ( 1:00.62 ), Cole Tatro in the IM ( 2:35.71 ) and 100 fly ( 1:10.13 ), JT Roberts in the 50 free ( 27.45 ), Evan McPeak in the 400 free ( 5:50.48 ), Brady Philabaum in the 100 back ( 1:09.78 ), and Brayden Karr in the 100 breast ( 1:20.15 ). In relays Luke Massie , Zachariah Phillips , Tatro and Roberts won the 200 medley relay ( 2:03.84 ); Bible , Karr , Phillips and Roberts the 200 free relay ( 1:50.42 ); and Bible , Massie , Karr and Tatro the 400 free relay ( 4:25.29 ).

For the Coshocton girls , Autumn Jones won the 200 free ( 2:46.75 ), Ella Baylor won the 100 breast ( 1:39.00 ), and the group of Jones , Baylor , Kendall Jackson and Chloe Hall won the 200 medley ( 2:39.49 ).
