Kiwanis Club of Coshocton names new leadership
The Kiwanis Club of Coshocton ended its 100th anniversary year on a high note with the installation of a new leadership team . Leadership members include Jenny Strickler , president ; Jessica Paisley , presidentelect ; Melissa Snider , vice president ; Dr . Chuck Fornara , treasurer ; and Sandy Jones , secretary .
Strickler had been acting as president , as previous President Ashley Hunt was unable to complete her duties due to a job change that took her from Coshocton County . Strickler was

doing double-duty in this capacity , not only securing speakers for the club meetings as presidentelect , but also running meetings . Strickler has been utilizing her leadership skills for many years in Coshocton , serving the community as the 4-H educator for the Ohio State University Extension in Coshocton County .
Paisley was instrumental in leading the annual Pancake Day fundraising efforts . She will now assume new duties as presidentelect of securing speakers for the weekly club meetings . No stranger to many in Coshocton , Paisley is general manager and funeral director for Given-Dawson- Paisley Funeral Home in Coshocton .
Snider has quietly been working behind the scenes , both in Kiwanis and her position with Coshocton Regional Medical Center as director of physician services . Snider will take the lead role in planning and implementing the annual Kiwanis Pancake Day fundraiser . Embarking on her fourth year as a Kiwanian , Snider is looking forward to serving the community in this capacity .
Fornara , a 34-year club member , has been treasurer for many years , and the club expresses their support for his diligence and leadership in this role . Many are familiar with Fornara as their optometrist , but fellow club members appreciate his skills in keeping the club ’ s finances up to date .
Jones , club secretary , has been a member of Kiwanis for 26 years . As secretary she takes notes at all club board meetings and ensures their timely delivery to the leadership team . Jones has served as president and past Lt . governor of District 18 . During her tenure as Lt . governor , she was awarded the Hixson Award for Service by Kiwanis . She is retired from banking but remains involved in the community by volunteering for a variety of organizations .
Kiwanis Club meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays at noon at the Coshocton Elks Lodge , 434 Chestnut St . All are
