Fresno Bible Church is working on plans to expand its parking lot

The Fresno Bible Church recently purchased property and began construction for a newly expanded parking lot .
According to Pastor Chris Cutshall , the church has seen an increase over the last two years in the average attendance to more than 200 people , with some Sundays serving as many as 265 . The increased numbers have necessitated expansion of the parking facilities . He also indicated the church elders are engaged in the planning stages for expansion of the interior worship auditorium , fellowship space and classrooms . Describing the elders as faithful stewards , Cutshall said an important element to completing the project is to do so without accumulating debt .
During the COVID pandemic , the nondenominational church began hosting two separate worship services : an 8 a . m . worship and 10:30 a . m . with Sunday school between worship services at 9:30 a . m . The 10:30 a . m . worship services are offered virtually via livestream and are later posted to the website at www . FresnoBiblechurch . org .
Cutshall said expansion of the facilities will help to achieve the ultimate goal of returning to one shared worship service . He described the sermons as expository preaching through the books of the Bible
with the church view of the Bible as their final authority for faith and life . Services are blended with both traditional and contemporary elements .
Additional services and programs offered by Fresno Bible Church include an adult prayer group on Wednesdays from 6:30-7:30 p . m ., junior church on Sundays at 10:30 a . m . for age 4 through fourth grade , a children ’ s nursery for the 10:30 a . m . service , Awana for kindergarten through sixth grade on Sundays from 6-7:30 p . m ., and youth group for grades 7-12 on Wednesdays and Sundays from 6:30-8 p . m .
Upcoming events include a Christmas Eve worship service at 8 p . m .
