Joyce Dean ( Chaney ) West , 86 , of Coshocton , and formerly of Tiverton Center , Ohio , went home to be with the Lord on July 28 , 2022 , at Signature Health Care of Coshocton .
Born Oct . 23 , 1935 , in Magnolia , Ohio , she was the daughter of Charles E . and Hilda M . ( Brankel ) Chaney . On Dec . 9 , 1951 , she married Wilson Porter West , who preceded her in death on June 7 , 2013 .

She is survived by one son , Danny ( Karen ) West of Coshocton ; three daughters , Crystal Lydic of Millersburg , Ohio , Brenda Eaches of Coshocton , and Beth Johnson of Sidney , Ohio ; seven grandchildren ; 10 great-grandchildren ; three great-great-grandchildren ; two sisters ; one brother ; and two sistersin-law .
One of 12 children , she was also preceded in death by her parents , five brothers , three sisters and a great-granddaughter .
Funeral services were held at 1 p . m . on Tuesday , Aug . 2 , 2022 , at Alexander Funeral Home in Millersburg , Ohio , with Rev . R . Michael Johnson officiating . Burial followed at the Killbuck Cemetery in Killbuck , Ohio . Calling hours were held from 11 a . m . to 1 p . m . Tuesday at the funeral home .

River View can ’ t offer free meals for all
During the last school year , River View children and families benefited from no-cost school meals for all students , made possible by special permission from the United States Department of Agriculture . These permissions have expired .
River View Schools and the Ohio Department of Education cannot extend the permissions for no-cost meals for all students .
School meals will still be available to all students ; however , they will not be free to all students . Households may apply for free or reduced-price meal benefits by Wednesday , Aug . 24 . Applications are available at your student ’ s building , open house , administration office and online at www . payschoolscentral . com /, as was done before the pandemic .
Eligibility for free and
reduced-price lunch is based on federal income guidelines or participation in other programs such as Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Ohio Works First . For additional information concerning the National School Lunch Program , see the U . S . Department of Agriculture school lunch Q-and-A webpage .
For the 2022-23 school year , the price of reduced and paid lunches will be as follows : $ 1.25 for k-6 breakfast and $ 2.40 for lunch , $ 1.25 for grades 7-12 breakfast and $ 2.60 for lunch , and no charge for reduced-price students of all ages for breakfast and 40 cents for lunch .

Age 75 , of Coshocton , passed away at the Roseland Nursing Home in Massillon , Ohio . He was born to the late Andrew W . and Mary Buela ( McGinnis ) Bonzi in Coshocton . He was a graduate of Coshocton High School and then entered the United States Navy , where he served in Vietnam . He later worked as a Union Carpenter . Bill is survived by his daughter , Andrea L . Bonzi , sisters , Mabel L . Medley and Betty Ferlden as well as several nieces , nephews and cousins .
A Memorial Service will be held at Memory Gardens on Sunday , August 31st at 1PM .
