The Ridgewood Local Schools Board of Education met in regular session with all members present .

Superintendent Mike Masloski presented the following items that were approved :

— Re sig n a t io n of Chris McVay .

— Employ ment of Cassie Mladek , fourthgrade teacher .

— ECOESC contract for services .

— MVESC contract for services .

— OMERESA contract for services .

— West Lafayette Chamber of Commerce fireworks .

— Copier bid with Richardson Copy Concepts .

— Supplemental contracts for Abbie Kellish , freshman volleyball ; Aimee Brown , eighthgrade volleyball ; and Cassie Mladek , seventhgrade volleyball .

— MOU with the West Lafayette Police Department for a school resource officer for 2022-23 school year .

— Resolution for the employment of substitute teachers credentials for 2022-23 and 2023-24 school years .

— Hired Jeff Courtright as a classified sub for the 2022-23 school year .

— The first reading for a therapy dog policy .

— Stipend of $ 500 for bus drivers meeting the qualifications to Jo Mizer , Shelly Ogle and Ernie Yoder .

— Approval of twoyear contract to Todd Stoffer , high school principal .

The next meeting will be Monday , Aug . 15 at 7 a . m . at the administration building , 301 S . Oak St ., West Lafayette .

The wrong band name was listed in the July 28 article about Rock Coshocton . Nightrain is the Guns & Roses tribute band .

In collaboration with Macrame by McKenna of Coshocton ’ s Rust Decor , Roscoe Village will host a macrame workshop on Friday , Aug . 19 from 6-8 p . m . at the Roscoe Village Visitor Center in the Lock Landing .

Those in attendance will make a wall hanging . Attendees will be instructed by Sarah McKenna , so no prior experience with this technique is necessary . Water and snacks will be provided , but participants are encouraged to bring their own additional beverages or snacks .
