Karri Harstine and RVHS German students made a presentation about their trip to Germany and Scott Lim- burg presented the annual food service review. The board approved the resignations of seventh grade volleyball coach Deanna Vickers and eighth grade volleyball coach Kelsey Willoughby for the 2017 season. It also approved the recommendation of the follow- ing coaching positions for the 2017 - 2018 school year: Eighth grade football - Doug Sampsel; seventh grade football - Dan Winner (moving from volunteer assis- tant football); eighth grade volleyball - Lindsay Lupher; seventh grade volleyball - Hope Kirker; seventh grade girls basketball - Sami Ringwalt; head baseball - Jesse Smoulder; head softball - Bonnie Infante; varsity as- sistant baseball - Mike Burr; JV baseball - Dustin Kent; volunteer assistant baseball - Todd Liberatore; volunteer assistant baseball - Denny Holt; varsity assistant softball - Sami Ringwalt; JV softball - Caitlin Fox; volunteer as- sistant girls basketball - Mackenzie Crossley; volunteer assistant wrestling - Rod Martin. The board also approved recommendations to hire/ rehire the following people pending completion of their background check and all paperwork: Dana Vesely, in- tervention specialist at Union for the 2017 - 2018 school year; Heath Chaney, intervention specialist at high school for the 2017 - 2018 school year; Kimberly Hill, kin- dergarten teacher at Conesville Elementary, for the 2017 - 2018 school year; rehire Terri Lowery as literacy coach for the 2017 - 2018 school year as per the Memorandum of Understanding submitted; rehire Sharon Wachtel as Hearing tests will be given at Beltone Hearing Aid Center. The test will be given by a Licensed Hearing Care Practitioner. Anyone who has trouble hearing or understanding conversations is invited to have a free hearing test to see if this problem can be helped. Jesse Smoulder was approved to be the senior class ad- visor for the 2017 – 2018 school year. Personnel changes at Conesville Elementary also were discussed. Annette Civiello went from Conesville reading teacher to high school social studies teacher. Cindy Journey went from Conesville kindergarten teacher to Conesville reading teacher and Sandy Fitch went from Conesville parapro- fessional to Warsaw paraprofessional (five days at 5 ¾ hours per day).
