River View golf scores

River View ’ s boys golf team played the back nine on Aug . 17 at Hickory Flats against Indian Valley . Individual scores for River View were Thad Cox , 44 ; Peyton Everhart , 49 ; and Josh Woolard , 52 .

Lady Bears take third

River View ’ s girls golf team played in the Lady Dawg Invite on Aug . 16 .

The Lady Bears came in third with a team score of 418 . Individual scores were Paige Nicely , 88 ; Caily Shriver , 101 ; Chloey Geog , 105 ; Kiera McPeck , 124 ; and Hollee Sheneman , 126 .

The beginning of the fall semester provides an opportunity to welcome five new members to the faculty at Coshocton Christian School .

Hannah Ellis is the new kindergarten aide . She attends Fresno Bible Church and has an associate degree in livestock production and management specializing in swine from Ohio State University ATI .

Dana Kittner will teach junior and senior history . She has a bachelor ’ s degree in science from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh . She and her husband serve together at Emmanuel Lutheran Church .

Miriam VanFossen has been hired as the librarian and tutor . She has a bachelor ’ s degree in religion with a concentration in biblical and theological studies from Kentucky Mountain Bible College . She attends NewPointe Community Church .

Kelly Treat is the new art teacher this year . She has a bachelor ’ s degree in business administration and science of communication from Ohio University . She also has a diploma of ministry from Hillsong International Leadership College . Treat and her family attend New Life Ministries church , where she is the ministry director .

Meghan Green has been hired as the physical education teacher . She has a bachelor ’ s degree in health and physical education from Muskingum University and a master ’ s degree in adult education from Muskingum University . She is a professor at Muskingum University . She and her family attend Westwood Baptist Church in Zanesville .

The young Black Bears also beat Meadowbrook 160-266 . Scores were Gavin Gress , 36 ; Colton Gress , 38 ; Caleb Kline , 41 ; Taylor Harstine , 45 ; Brynn Harstine , 57 ; and Makayla Gress , 54 .

High School Golf Round-up

Ridgwood wins battle of

the borders

Coshocton , Ridgewood and River View golf teams competed together on Aug . 13 at River Greens .

Ridgewood won with a team score of 352 . The Generals were followed by River View with a 399 and Coshocton with a 456 .

Team scores for Ridgewood were Charlie Kirkpatrick , 76 ; Benny Shuck , 89 ; Cooper Kohg , 90 ; and Zach Evin , 97 .

River View was led by Paige Nicely , 96 ; Caily Shriver , 98 ; Thad Cox , 101 ; Josh Woolard , 104 ; and Peyton Everhart , 113 .

Coshocton ’ s scores were Gavin Mathias , 95 ; Carter Summers , 109 ; Coby Moore , 113 ; and Kate Brady , 139 .
