Coshocton County Youth Leadership class graduates
Coshocton County Youth
Leadership held its graduation
ceremony for the Class
of 2020 on Aug. 5 at the M
Event Centre on the grounds
of Coshocton KOA.
Due to the COVID-19
pandemic, guests were limited
to family only; however,
that did not detract from
the evening’s celebration.
Treated to presentations by
the young philanthropists,
audience members listened
as the youth took turns at
the podium to describe
their Coshocton Foundation
Trustee’s Pay It Forward
Project. By the end of the
presentations, it was evident
the young philanthropists
had touched a chord
in the listening audience, as
each described the personal
impact the act of philanthropy
had on them.
These young leaders
donated to local nonprofit
organizations, charity
events and the local animal
shelter and purchased needed
cleaning supplies and
clothing for elementary students.
It was an emotional
night filled with gratitude
for the gift of a community
that repeatedly supports its
young adults.
