Elvis performs at senior center

Elvis was in the building at the Coshocton Senior Center on Aug . 16 . Eric Bressi , also known as “ Elvis ’ Lost Brother ,” was given that name by Montel Williams when he was on the “ Montel Williams Show .” Bressi spent seven years performing in Los Vegas as an Elvis tribute artist , and his show is known nationwide for his portrayal of Elvis Presley .
He was inspired at a young age when he saw Elvis on “ The Ed Sullivan Show .”
“ I first saw Elvis on a 13-inch black and white TV that we picked up off the street . You had to pound on it to get the vertical to stop going up and down ,” Bressi said .
Singing “ Reach out to Jesus ,” he calls his show the ultimate gospel experience . He combines southern gospel music with rock and roll in the Elvis style while handing out necklaces to the ladies .
Couples married 50 or more years were recognized , and the longest married couple was Pauline and Robert Jamison

with 65 years of marriage . He sang one of Elvis ’ first songs from 1958 , “ Now and Then There ’ s a Fool Such as I ,” and “ Happy Birthday ” to the ladies who had a birthday this month : Ruth , Josephine , Erica , Barb and Ellen .
Elvis Presley passed away 47 years ago on Aug . 16 , and Bressi began impersonating the King of
Rock and Roll on the same date 42 years ago . “ I want you to remember , if you leave here with nothing today , Jesus Christ is the real king of all ,” Bressi said .

phone number and have been in communication with him . About 100 people signed up for it , so we ’ re excited . They have been excited , and this is what we need . I read that in the early years his favorite colors were pink and black , so our staff did pink and black decorations . I hope he does the music to get everybody moving because his music does that .
“ We have a lot of people here we haven ’ t seen for a while . I hope our senior community will get down here because this is for them . We are super excited . We try to have entertainment a couple times a month . Everything is entertaining and upbeat . For these things the only requirement is to be at least 60 years old .”
The Walhonding Rube Band will be at the senior center on Friday , Sept . 1 .
