River View FFA receives Grants for Growing funding
The River View FFA chapter in Warsaw has been awarded $ 3,350 as part of the Grants for Growing program . The nationwide program , sponsored by Tractor Supply Company , provides grant funds to local FFA chapters to support the development or improvement of agricultural education projects that enhance the classroom experiences for students through chapter engagement activities .
River View FFA plans to increase agriculture literacy and advocate for its agriculture education program at River View High School by recording and live streaming events
Event planned for teens on Aug . 14
The Teen International Festival will be held Saturday , Aug . 14 at noon at the Coshocton County Fairgrounds in the Rotary Pavilion .
Admission is free . of different agriculture and natural resource production practices on their school land lab and in their local community . These will be posted on their webpages to be viewed by the FFA members , students and community members .
This grant will provide different types of videorecording equipment and technology resources to help capture different events that happen on the land lab . In addition to the production practices , videos will be made to connect students of all ages to different careers and opportunities in their community .
The program provided
There will be games , prizes , free food , music and more .
Bring lawn chairs . There will be free gifts for the first 20 teens . approximately $ 548,000 to FFA chapters in 47 states . Funding is provided through consumer donations made during checkout at a Tractor Supply Company store by purchasing a $ 1 FFA Paper Emblem . The fundraising period aligns with National FFA Week in February .

Choose Joy Productions invites a band / artist to volunteer their time to do a giveaway with them . They do not “ book ” an artist . The band / artist volunteers their time for free to do giveaways with them . Also , they invite the artist / band for the purpose of inspiring and encouraging the children to get started in music , not just for the artist / band to perform . They hope that meeting professionals in the industry allows the children to be inspired and encouraged as they start on their own musical journey .
