Coshocton Regional Medical Center was recognized

Coshocton Regional Medical Center was recognized for its performance on social responsibility , receiving an A grade on the Lown Institute Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility .

The index is the first ranking to measure social responsibility of more than 3,600 U . S . hospitals nationwide and applies neverbefore-used metrics such as racial inclusivity , avoidance of overuse and community benefit .

Coshocton Regional Medical Center ranked third out of 130 hospitals in Ohio and 75th nationally on the social responsibility metric .

Bloom With WIC will be held Aug . 7 at the community room

Coshocton County WIC will present Bloom With WIC at the Coshocton County Community Room on Wednesday , Aug . 7 from 1-3 p . m .

Bloom With WIC , previously known as the Baby Expo , will feature more than 20 different community vendors with giveaways , door prizes , food and more . This event is open to the public , more specifically for families with young children , pregnant / breastfeeding women , infants and children up to age 5 .

The event will be held at the Coshocton County Community Room , 637 Chestnut St . Registration for this event is not required , and there will be no cost for admission at the door . This event is free for all community members . Parking is available in front of the Coshocton Public Health District and across the street behind the old EMS building and beside the First Baptist Church .
