Freddy “ Froggy ” Dean Wright
Freddy “ Froggy ” Dean Wright , 86 , of Coshocton passed away Monday , March 27 , 2023 at the Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia , Ohio . He was born in Coshocton on August 23 , 1936 to the late Benson F . and Lotty ( Slaughter ) Wright .
Freddy graduated from Roscoe High School and served in the United States Army . During this time , he served alongside 7 of his brothers . He and his brothers also worked for Sohio Gas Station . Freddy was a member of the Carpenters Union . He was a lifetime member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge , VFW , and the American Legion . He enjoyed going to Wheeling to watch the dog races and traveling .
Freddy is survived by his longtime companion and caregiver of more than 50 years , Mary Ishmael ; daughters Jana VanDusen and Amy ( Tim ) Milligan both or Coshocton ; stepdaughter Terri ( Ted ) Boitnott of Urichsville , Ohio ; grandchildren Justin ( Makayla ) VanDusen , Mark ( Katie ) Wright , Aaron ( Dominique ) Jennings , Ryan ( Kylee ) Jennings , Teddy ( Natalie ) Boitnott , Tyler ( Ashley ) Boitnott , and Tina
( Shawn ) Lehman ; 14 great grandchildren and two on the way ; brother Raymond Wright ; and several nieces and nephews .
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his siblings Dale , Francis , Marie , Max , Burt , Donald , Bobby , Clifford , Joann , and Dick .
The family would like to give a special thanks to the Coshocton Regional Medical Center ’ s ICU nurses and staff for their kindness and care for Freddy during his stay .
Per Freddy ’ s wishes there will be no services at this time and a cremation will take place . The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is assisting the family . Gerald Rogene Towne , 78 , of Abilene , Texas passed away Saturday , March 25 , 2023 at Long Term Acute Care , Hendrick North Hospital in Abilene , Texas . He was born in Pasco , Washington on August 15 , 1944 to the late Arthur Rogene Towne and Virginia E . ( Usher ) Wilcox .
After graduating high school , Gerald enlisted in the United States Army . He served in the Army for 9 years and the Army Reserves for 5 years . After his time in the Army , he worked as a DA Civilian Legal Clerk at Fort Huachuca / Sierra Vista , AZ . The family moved to Columbus , OH , where he worked as a Procurement Clerk before retiring . He was a member of the American Society of Military Insignia Collectors ( ASMIC ), American Legion , and VFW . He collected thousands of military crests , patches , and other militaria items . He loved to travel , visiting landmarks , museums , and nature . He was an avid supporter of Native American groups , animal

Friends called at the Miller Funeral Home , 639 Main St ., Coshocton , Ohio 43812 on Sunday , April 2 , 2023 from 1:00pm – 2:30pm . Funeral services were held at 2:30pm with Pastor Scott Hayes officiating .
