Camp Invention held at 3 locations this summer

This summer in Coshocton County , up to 200 local students will have the opportunity to attend the Camp Invention program through the commitment of the area ’ s many community leaders .
Through area organizations ’ 2023 financial support , local students will attend Camp Invention this year at three regional locations : Ridgewood Elementary School in West Lafayette the week of June 12 , Warsaw Elementary School the week of June 19 and Coshocton Elementary School the week of June 26 .
While the local programs are open to all children , any children living in Coshocton County or attending a Coshocton County school can register at a reduced price of $ 40 .
Camp Invention , a summer enrichment program for children entering kindergarten through sixth grade , is a program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame .

Verizon plans to open new store on May 1

Verizon Wireless is moving out of the Downtowner Plaza and just down the road to a brandnew building on South Second Street .
“ We are very excited ,” said CT Tyler , store manager . “ Our first full week there will be all about the customer experience . We will be doing account analysis and looking for ways to help customers with their bills and upgrade .”
Customers will be able to shop , pay bills and receive technical support at the store starting on Monday , May 1 .
“ The only thing we are not is a corporate store , but we will try to make calls and help where we can ,” Tyler said .
The new store will be fully staffed and modernized .
“ The new setup is going to work well for us and our customers ,” Tyler said . “ Our goal is to treat everyone like they are our best friend .”
The store will be open Sundays from 10 a . m . to 6
