Sandra Bordenkircher
Sandra Bordenkircher, 86, of Coshocton passed away on April 16, 2025, at Danbury Millersburg. She was born on October 31, 1938, to the late Otto and Coral( Conrad) Schuler. She was a graduate of West Liberty Dental Hygiene program and worked as a Hygienist. On June 21, 1961, she married Louis Bordenkircher, who preceded her in death. Sandra loved to read and play on her computer and iPad and watch old movies. She was a good baker and cook and enjoyed cooking for her family. She loved having the family together and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her beloved pets were her cat, Katie and dog, Molly.
She is survived by her children, Lori( Joe) Harter, Janet( Chuck Clough) Hanna and Brian( Joellen)
Bordenkircher; grandchildren, Ryan( Jessica) Murphy, Nathan( Jordan) Murphy, Mark and Matt Hanna and Brent and Scott Bordenkircher; siblings, Pam Armstead and Phil Schuler.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Ellen Schuler.
A memorial service will be held at The Miller Funeral Home on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 12pm with Rev. Stew Royce officiating, with an hour of calling hours prior. Burial will follow at Clark Cemetery. An online memorial can be viewed at www. themillerfuneralhome. com.

John L. Patterson, 87, passed away at his residence on Wednesday April 16, 2025.
John was born in Clark on August 5, 1937. He was a graduate of Keene High School. He married Darlene Kitchen on April 4, 1955. He was the owner of Patterson Wiring, and was a volunteer fireman with North Tuscarawas for 25 years. John was also an avid Ohio State fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Maude( Arnold) Patterson; brothers, Bernard, Robert, Charles Ray, William, Albert, Alvin, Calvin, Gail, and Jerry along with their spouses; sisters, Mildred Casey, Faye Wagers, and Juanita Bucklew as well as

their spouses; sons-in-law, Les Johnson and Chuck Triacheff, and his father and mother-in-law, Bethel and Delores Kitchen.
Surviving is his wife of 70 years, Darlene; daughters, Debbie Johnson of Coshocton, and Beth
( Tony) Frasher of North Port, FL; granddaughters, Carrie( Jason) Dean and Leslie( Darren) Mansfield; great grandchildren, Delena and Dalton Dean, and Austin Mansfield; brother, Kenneth( Karen) Patterson, and sister-inlaw, Wanda Beck of Coshocton; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends.

Home Loan Financial Corporation, the parent company of The Home Loan Savings Bank, announced net income of $ 1,632,000 or $ 1.16 basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31, compared to net income of $ 1,302,000 or $ 0.93 basic and diluted earnings per share for the quarter ended March 31, 2024, an increase of $ 329,000 or 25.29 %. This increase in earnings was primarily attributable to an increase in net interest income of $ 689,000 partially offset by a decrease in noninterest income of
$ 45,000, an increase in the provision for loan losses of $ 35,000, an increase in noninterest expense of $ 193,000, and an increase in federal income tax expense of $ 87,000.
Total assets at March 31 were $ 351.8 million, compared to June 30, 2024 assets of $ 330.6 million, an increase of $ 21.2 million or 6.41 %. Total deposits at March 31 were $ 276.5 million, compared to June 30, 2024 deposits of $ 244.9 million, an increase of $ 31.6 million or 12.89 %. Total equity at March 31 was $ 42.1 million, compared to $ 38.9 million at June 30, 2024, an increase of $ 3.1 million.
