The Coshocton County Board of DD Talent Show winners were Faith Williams , Kyle Sianjina , Rob Jones , Kaylea Jones , Tani Huebner , Jason Neighbor , Shanya Demoss , Wesley Grandstaff , Casey Jones , Scott Balentine and Jalen Berry .

The gym at Hopewell School was full of spectators on April 8 when the Coshocton County Board of DD Talent Show was held . For the last two years , it has been a virtual show , so everyone was excited to be in person again . Also this year , visual arts were once again included in the show .

“ I felt like there were people who didn ’ t like to take the stage but had talents that should be shared . This gives everyone a chance to participate ,” said Toby Collins , director of recreation and Special Olympics for the county board . There were five visual arts projects including Lego creations , art work , painted cars and a handbuilt model .

Seven people took the stage to showcase their singing talents . Judges for the event were Special Olympic coaches , staff and a current contestant for Miss Ohio , Crimzen Christmas .

Winners for the visual arts part of the show were Shanya Demoss , Picasso and People ’ s Choice ; Rob Jones , Most

Unique ; and Wesley Grandstaff , Imagine .

Winners for the singing contest were Kaylea Jones , The Voice ; Jason Neighbor , Idol ; Scott Balentine , Got Talent ; Tani Huebner , Original ; Casey Jones , People ’ s Choice ; and Jalen Berry , Shaun Connor Award .

“ It ’ s important for our performers to have the stage all to themselves so they can showcase their own talents and art . And it ’ s important for our community to really see those talents that we have here in our county ,” Collins said .
