Faith on the Field will be held on May 1

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes third annual Faith on the Field will be held Sunday , May 1 at 7 p . m . at Coshocton ’ s Stewart Field . Previous Faith on the Fields were held at River View and Ridgewood ’ s football stadiums . Members of FCA from all county schools will take part in the worship service .
This is a student-led community worship service . Nick Johnson said , “ One of our goals with FCA is unity — to bring schools , churches and the community together .”
The service will last about an hour and will include music by students , a panel discussion about FCA and what it means to the students , and keynote speaker Hailey Helter , a junior at Coshocton High School .
The title of her speech is “ What Is Your Mission ?” and she will talk about discovering one ’ s mission in life , finding what makes one truly happy and leaving the things that don ’ t behind .
“ FCA is important to me because it is such a great way to grow my faith , and not only that , but doing it with my peers and being able to help each other on the way . I also think it ’ s a great way to get involved in your school and community ,” Helter said .
The event will be held in the Coshocton High School auditorium in the event of rain . If the location needs to change , it will be announced on Facebook and on the radio . FCA will have a golf scramble on Saturday , June 4 and an All-Abilities Camp on Friday and Saturday , July 15-16 .
