Genesis receives primary stroke recertification

Genesis HealthCare System earned primary stroke recertification by the Accreditation Commission for Health Care . Primary stroke certification means Genesis can stabilize and treat acute stroke patients , provide acute care , and administer tissue plasminogen activator , an FDA-approved treatment for ischemic strokes , as well as other therapies . The recertification process occurs every three years with a mid-cycle review at topic will be Embrace Your Future Self and Influence Change . The event will be held in the Coshocton Community Room at 637 Chestnut St .
Amy Crown , director of the Coshocton County Chamber of Commerce , said

“ Achieving this recertification required the teamwork of our physicians , advanced practice providers , nurses and staff to provide lifesaving care when they arrived at the emergency department and throughout their follow-up care ,” said Keela Barker , director of rehabilitation and ambulatory services at Genesis . “ Every minute is crucial when someone is having a stroke . The sooner the Galentine ’ s Day event was the first event for the Empower HER Network .
“ We asked for comments on what women wanted . It was loud and clear that educational topics were wanted , so we decided to add a few Lunch

Piano contest winner named

On Sunday , April 7 at the Roscoe Village Foundation Visitor Center , two finalists performed on the Montgomery piano before a crowd and panel of five judges to determine the senior division winner of the 36th annual Edward E . Montgomery Jr . Piano Competition .
Kayli Schoch , the daughter of Lori and Kevin Schoch and an 11th-grade student at Liberty University Online Academy , emerged as the winner with her performance of “ Waltz , Op . 70 No 1 .” She received a $ 1,000 cash award from The Montgomery Foundation .

Biff Hayes and a 10thgrade student at Newcomerstown High School , also vied for the award with her performance of

The 2025 competition is currently scheduled for Sunday , April 6 , 2025 .
