Sealed bids will be received by the Service Dir-
ector of the City of Coshocton, Ohio until 11:00
AM on the 22nd day of April 2020, for the pur-
chase of the following listed materials and sup-
plies for the City of Coshocton in accordance
with the plans and specifications now on file in
the Office of the Service Director, City Hall, 760
Chestnut Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 and at
said address, sealed bids will be publicly opened
and read aloud at 11:00 AM on April 22nd 2020
for:
ALUM
CHLORINE
CO2
FLUORIDE
LIME
SODIUM HEXAMETAPHOSPHATE
VEHICLE FUEL
Each proposal shall be sealed and clearly
marked on the outside of the envelope identify-
ing the material/supply of the bid enclosed. Bid-
ders submitting bids for more than one chemical
must submit each bid in a separate envelope
clearly marked on the outside of each envelope
the type of bid enclosed. Multiple bids may not
be submitted in the same sealed envelope. Pro-
posals shall be addressed to the Service Direct-
or, City Hall, 760 Chestnut Street, Coshocton,
OH 43812. Specifications may be obtained at
the Service Director’s office at the aforemen-
tioned address. Each proposal must be accom-
panied by a bond with an approved surety com-
pany or a cashier’s check on a solvent bank
drawn and made payable to the City of Coshoc-
ton, Ohio in the sum of $300.00. Should any bid
be rejected, each bond or cashier’s check shall
be forthwith returned to the bidder; and should
any bid be accepted, such bond or cashier’s
check will be returned upon proper execution
and securing of the contract. The successful bid-
der will be required to execute a contract within
ten (10) days after the award of the contract. In
case of failure to execute the contract as stated,
the bidder will be considered to have aban-
doned the contract and the bond or check ac-
companying the proposal shall be forfeited to the
City not as a penalty but as liquidated damages.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all
bids and to award the contract to the lowest or
best bidder. Each proposal must contain the full
name of every person or company interested in
same. The City reserves the right to reject any
bid that does not contain evidence of satisfact-
ory completion of similar contracts. The City re-
serves the right to waive irregularities in bids
and form.

5311/5339 Grant Application Public Notice
The Coshocton County Board of Commission-
ers DBA Coshocton County Coordinated Trans-
portation Agency (CCCTA), which is a public
body, intends to submit a Proposal to the Ohio
Department of Transportation for federal grants
under the provision of 49 U.S.C. Section 5311
and Section 5339 of the Federal Transit Laws as
codified and the Ohio Public Transportation
Grant Program to provide public transportation
service primarily for the elderly and disabled
within Coshocton County (593.91 square miles).
The operating grant will provide assistance for
demand response public transportation and de-
viated fixed route services for the residents of
Coshocton County during the CY 2021. The
public service currently operates Monday
through Friday, 5:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The capital grant will provide financial assist-
ance to purchase 2 wheelchair accessible
vehicles and fleet maintenance.
Copies of the detailed service description and
project budget may be obtained at the CCCTA
office located at 401 Main Street, Coshocton
between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Fri-
day.
A public hearing will be held at 10 a.m. April 8,
2020, in the County Commissioner’s office,
401 1/2 Main Street, Coshocton; for public com-
ment. This meeting is in a handicapped access-
ible location; other accommodations will be
made as requested. For those unable to attend
the public hearing, written comments may be
submitted within 30 days after the hearing to
