The Corridor’s Real Property Forum By Barbara Kent The Real Property Forum Panelists Eric Alexander Vision Long Island [email protected] Eric Alexander is the Executive Director of Vision Long Island, whose mission is to promote more liveable, economically sustainable and environmentally responsible growth on Long Island through Smart Growth. The organization partners with many other groups to encourage proactive land use planning and to strengthen communities by involving local stakeholders in decision-making. In 2002, Mr. Alexander organized Long Island’s first Smart Growth Awards event and led its first Smart Growth Summit. Both events have become catalysts for economic development. Over the last twelve years, he has made nearly 1,500 individual and group presentations to nearly seventy five Long Island communities.  He has received a number of honors and recognitions as one of LI’s most influential leaders. He is a resident of Northport and active in Leadership Huntington and other area civic groups. His home and office are in the Village of Northport. David P. Leno, Esq. Ruskin, Moscou, Faltischek PC [email protected] David Leno, a partner at Ruskin Moscou Faltischek PC, is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Department and chairs the Zoning and Land Use Practice Group. He also serves on the IDA and Municipal Development Incentives, Commercial Lending and Environmental practice groups, and is a member of the New York State Board of Real Estate. His voluntary activities include Trustee of the Old Westbury College Foundation, the President’s Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Long Island, and the Chaminade High School’s Alumni Association. 10
