A note from Rennie:
With a few new employees this past year, just wanted to recap on how vacation, sick and holidays work.
After 90 days of employment (3 months), employees receive holiday pay as per the employee manual.
After 180 days employment (6 months), employees receive 4 hours (1/2 day) sick time per month. Any unused sick time for the previous year is cashed out by March of the following year.
An employee that calls in sick the day before or after a holiday has the potential of not being paid for that holiday. This is to avoid having half the company call in sick before or after a holiday ;)
After 1 year employment, employees receive vacation pay as per the employee manual.
Please fill out a requested days off sheet when requesting vacation days, coming in late, or leaving early and give to Tim G (for shop employees) or Bob (office employees).
For an employee manual, please see your immediate supervisor.
