The story of Maricopa couldn’t be told without the Rotary Club—and to help make sure the organization is kept alive to future generations, they have chartered their Interact Club of Maricopa High School, which will make it only the third charter in the State of Arizona, and a first for the region. “For Rotary, our mission is to help build the youth of this community,” said Alma Farrell, Maricopa Interact Club Representative, “To teach them leadership skills and how to have service above themselves.” The Interact Club members will be able to use their membership for scholarship opportunities, and connecting with leaders on a local and international level. Original Charter Members IncludeSydnee Akers, Codey Byrd, Madison Byrd, Juan Carrillo, Chad Cochran, Bryce Crosbie, Patrick Keene, Angel Moreno, Rosie Naranjo, Christian Palafox, Kyle Salazar, Da’Jonna Swaing, Nicole Troyer Before you roll down to Mexico for a road trip... If you are headed down Puerto Penasco or somewhere else down in Mexico this summer, you might want to think about getting your insurance beforehand, and save yourself a world of time and a list of potential problems. “The coverage we can provide will protect you from a total loss of your vehicle, medical payments, legal assistance, and even help with return plane tickets home,” said Chris Cahall of American Family Insurance. “These are just some of the benefits you could utilize if you find yourself in a tough situation and Mexican insurance is more affordable than you would think, as long as you get it here.” “No matter what, whether it is through my office, or through another company, you want to make sure you are not going to be playing the guessing game of who is really covering you, in the event you need it,” Cahall said. “Always talk to your agent, check with them first, don’t assume you are always protected and always have a copy of your paperwork ready.” Cahall says his office can you give a quick estimate over the phone in a few minutes. “Just a few minutes of your prep time,” Cahall said. “You want to spend more time having fun in Mexico, and not worrying about this.” Contact Chris at 44480 W Honeycutt Rd: Suite 103 (520) 350 - 2500 - ccahall@amfamcom
